"She's the girl who believes that what comes around goes around. The one that hopes for a better day. The one that won't give up on you. She's the girl whose unlike the rest. The one that spent her days smiling and her nights crying. She's the girl that would loved to be love. The one that looks so damn strong, but feels weak. She's the girl who picks herself up every single time she falls."
When I found this quote I was in a weak mental state from my life being turned upside down. As I read each and every word it was like they fell out from within me. Each word took me back to a memory or a lesson I learned from my two greatest role models life has given me. I have been blessed to call
them "Mis mamis" (top photo: my biological mother & bottom photo: my godmother). They have truly helped turned my insecurities into confidence, weakness into strength, ugliness into beauty, and wrongs into truths. I strongly believe we should all have someone you admire for their strength, the way they carry themselves, how they confront problems and find solutions, and treat others. These are individuals that will truly help you whenever you need it and love you regardless. A role model has to be someone you admire, respect, and trust. Someone who will not only listen to you but comfort you when you most need it. He or she will always tell you the truth and give you the best advice you can ask for.
Your role model may be a relative, a professor, a supervisor, a friends, a colleague, who ever it is I guarantee they will positively benefit your life more ways than one.
Love always,
